Police: Upstate NY woman used 11-year-old to break into home through a doggy door

An Upstate New York woman has been accused of using an 11-year-old to break into a home using a doggy door.
Livingston (WSYR-TV) – An Upstate New York woman has been accused of using an 11-year-old to break into a home using a doggy door.

Heather Breault, 33, of the Eastern New York community of Cairo, is charged with three counts of burglary in the second degree and criminal solicitation in the third degree, both felonies, as well as two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

According to police, an acquaintance told them Breault had broken into her home in Germantown in order to steal from her.

They believe Breault used the 11-year-old on two occasions to break in.

She was arraigned in Town of Livingston Court and taken to the Columbia County Jail where she is being held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
