Police hope paper appraisal will help them crack homicide case

Police are hoping someone in Syracuse recognizes a key piece of evidence in a homicide investigation they say was witnessed by a child.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Police are hoping someone in Syracuse recognizes a key piece of evidence in a homicide investigation they say was witnessed by a child.

Police have sent a copy of a broker or buyer appraisal sheet that they believe is connected to items that were taken from the home during the robbery that ended in Jerry Mack’s death.

The incident occurred in October 2011 in Mack’s South Side home.

The paper indicates the sale of “coins of all nations” and an iPod mini.
