Police identify MIT officer who was shot and killed

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology officer shot and killed during an overnight incident that police believe involved two Boston Marathon bomb suspects was identified Friday morning.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV/CNN) – The Massachusetts Institute of Technology officer shot and killed during an overnight incident that police believe involved two Boston Marathon bomb suspects was identified Friday morning.

The MIT officer has been identified as 26-year-old Sean Collier.

They say he was gunned down by 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev died after being shot by police earlier on Friday.

They are still looking for the Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Before MIT, Collier was a civilian employee with the Somerville Police Department.
