Researchers looking for CNYers to participate in cancer study

It is being called research today for a cancer free tomorrow. The American Cancer Society is starting research that studies how lifestyle and the environment cause or prevent cancer.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – It is being called research today for a cancer free tomorrow.

The American Cancer Society is starting research that studies how lifestyle and the environment cause or prevent cancer.

They are searching for people between the ages of 30 and 65 who have never had cancer and are willing to make a long-term commitment to the study.

The study involves completing periodic follow-up surveys at home every 2-3 years for 20 years.

Interested potential participants can enroll Tuesday or Wednesday at the YMCA’s in Auburn and Skaneateles or at Auburn Community Hospital.
