New York (WSYR-TV) – A recent Syracuse University graduate was one of two people whose drug-related deaths led to the cancellation of the Electric Zoo musical festival in New York City.

According to several New York newspapers, including the New York Daily News, 23-year-old Jeffrey Russ of Rochester and 20-year-old Olivia Rotondo, died after taking Ecstasy.

The report shows at least four other concert goers were treated for overdoses at the festival.

Many more were arrested on drug charges.
