Say Yes to Education program adds 10 schools including Yale, MIT, Brown and more

The Say Yes to Education program says it has added 10 more colleges and universities that it will partner with.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The Say Yes to Education program says it has added 10 more colleges and universities that it will partner with.

The new schools include:
  • Yale University in New Haven, Conn.
  • Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass.
  • Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
  • Brown University in Providence, R.I.
  • Williams College in Williamstown, Mass.
  • Northeastern University in Boston, Mass.
  • Smith College in Northampton, Mass.
  • Trinity College in Hartford, Conn.
  • Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio
  • Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa.
The Say Yes to education program helps families in Syracuse with college costs.

The program now has partnerships with 64 colleges and universities.

Graduates of city public high schools in Buffalo and Syracuse are eligible for the program regardless of family income, for up to 100 percent of tuition cost.

Scholarships are funded by local donors, including individuals, families, foundations and businesses.

More than 3,000 high school graduates have attended college since the program’s inception.

The Fall 2014 semester is the first semester eligible students can apply to enroll in the newly added schools.
