Seneca County pair faces heroin charges

Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators have charged two people with possessing and dealing heroin.
Seneca County (WSYR-TV) – Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators have charged two people with possessing and dealing heroin.

Sheriff’s Investigators say they found 50 bags of heroin and 11 hypodermic needles after pulling the pair over in the town of Junius.

They charged Mark Snyder, 52, of Route 31, Clyde, with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.

They charged Amy Marro, 44, of Farron Road, Seneca Falls, with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument.

Snyder was arraigned in Lodi Town Court and taken to Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Lodi Town Court on March 6. He is also wanted by Irondequoit Police for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

Marro was arraigned in Lodi Town Court and taken to the Seneca Count Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Lodi Town Court on March 21.
