Liverpool (WSYR-TV) - The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office has released more details in the Monday morning stabbing that left two women dead and one injured in the village of Liverpool.

26-year-old Justin Dallas of 119 Radisson Court in Syracuse, is accused of stabbing his wife and friend to death with a four to six-inch folding knife.

Deputies say his wife, 24-year-old Brandy Dallas, and Samantha Rainwater were found in the home.

Rainwater was pronounced dead at the scene and Brandy was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Justin Dallas and Rainwater had previously worked at Upstate University Hospital together, deputies said.

The third victim was injured when Justin Dallas pushed her down a flight of basement stairs, according to deputies.

Her identity has not been released.

Deputies say the husband asked a friend to drop him off at the home located at 915 Second Street in Liverpool, but didn’t specify why.

Upon entering the home, deputies say Justin Dallas engaged in an argument with his wife, Brandy, who was currently living at the home.

According to deputies, Justin Dallas then stabbed the victims multiple times.

Deputies say the surviving victim saw Justin Dallas steal his wife Brandy’s car and called police.

Justin Dallas was at the scene when Village of Liverpool Police arrived, officials stated.

The police chief pursued Dallas, who deputies say ran from his car near the ball fields at Onondaga Lake Park.

A Sheriff's Deputy pursued Justin Dallas into the water at about waist-deep height and pulled him back to shore.

Deputies indicated he resisted when being place under arrested.

The Sheriff’s Office says Brandy Dallas had an order of protection against Justin stemming from a domestic incident that occurred in July, which Justin was arrested for Menacing and Unlawful Imprisonment.

Sheriff Kevin Walsh says he believes Justin and Brandy Dallas were separated and that she had lived at Rainwater’s home off-and-on.

Justin and Brandy Dallas have two children, ages 3 and 8, who are staying with family now.

Deputies say there were no other people in the home at the time of the stabbing.

Justin Dallas has been charged with the following:
  • Murder in the 1st Degree
  • Two counts of Murder in the 2nd Degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree
He pleaded not guilty to all three charges in the Village of Liverpool Court and is being held without bail.

Justin Dallas' preliminary hearing is set for Friday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m.
