Syracuse man charged in downtown armed robbery

A Syracuse man is under arrest two weeks after an armed robbery in a downtown bank parking lot.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Syracuse man is under arrest two weeks after an armed robbery in a downtown bank parking lot.

Police say Curtis Paige, 20, of Coolidge Avenue in Syracuse, used a gun when he robbed a male and female victim in the parking lot of a Chase Bank location on West Fayette Street around 11 p.m. on Sept. 7.

He allegedly stole two cellphones, a credit card, and cash before running away.

Paige was charged with two counts of robbery in the second the second degree, identity theft in the second degree, two counts of menacing in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

He was taken to the Justice Center to await arraignment.

No one was injured during the robbery.
