Truck carrying pudding hits West Genesee St. bridge

A tractor-trailer hit the railroad bridge over West Genesee Street on Monday morning around 11:30.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A tractor-trailer hit the railroad bridge over West Genesee Street on Monday morning around 11:30.

Syracuse Police say the truck was headed eastbound and the 55-year-old driver from Ohio was not hurt.

The trailer, which was carrying pudding, had a portion of its roof ripped off. Police say it was towed from the scene.

Engineers checked the bridge and it was found to be safe, police said.

Police are still looking into the crash and say tickets are pending the results of the investigation.
