Looking for something to do in the Syracuse area for the weekend of Feb. 17?

WSYR-TV - Looking for something to do in the Syracuse area this weekend?

Winterfest marks 30 years bringing fun and cheer to downtown Syracuse and throughout the community.  The 11 day celebration gets underway today, and continues through the school break next week.  This weekend's fun includes the Culinary Cruise on Saturday and a Cornhole Tournament on Sunday.

The Central New York Boat Show takes over three buildings at the State Fairgrounds.  Check out more than 500 new power and sail boats, cruisers, pontoons and personal watercraft, all on display through Sunday.

Singer/songwriter Jeff Jones has captured six SAMMY Awards over the years.  He'll show you why Saturday night at 10 p.m., as he leads the gut-bucket twang of Pale Green Stars in a show at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.

And the FOLKUS Project warms up the night, tomorrow, with Molly Venter and Goodnight Moonshine.  It's all about storytelling through music, Friday at 8:00 p.m. at May Memorial Universalist Unitarian Society on East Genesee Street in DeWitt.
