(WSYR-TV, Syracuse)  It seems like summer has moved into CNY, with a great Memorial Day weekend, and a run of afternoon temperatures in the mid 80s.  May 2014 is running a little over 3 degrees above normal through May 27th.

The last month with an average temperature above normal was October 2013.  The past 6 months have averaged below normal, which we can attest to given the winter we just went through.

We only set one record high, when the high temperature was 84 on May 12th..tying the record high for the date.

With the warmth, there has been rain.  As of May 27th, rainfall was a little under an inch above normal.
