(WSYR-TV, Syracuse)  May 2014 is in the books.  Here's a recap of the numbers.

The average temperature was 2.8 degrees above normal.  This is the first month with and above average mean temperature in 6 months!!  

The month started out wet, but ended up dry.  Rainfall for the month was 3.71", .49" above normal for May.

There were 7 days when the high temperature was 80 degrees or higher.

The coldest morning low was 36 degrees on May 7th.

No snow was recorded.  However, on Sunday morning, May 18th, some graupel (snow pellets) was reported at Hancock Airport.
