New at the Fair this Year:
New Midway: Wade Shows will bring many new rides, including two of the three largest traveling roller coasters in America, as part of a package of more than 60 rides.
Yo2Go: New York State is the nation's No. 1 producer of yogurt and, now, the the popular snack has a home at the Fair. Yo2Go, in the Dairy Products Building, features two varieties of yogurt that were produced by Cornell University.
New technology: Four brand new cell phone charging rotations, provided by MyFleetDept.com, will help keep your phones ready for Facebook and Twitter. The stations are located in the entrances of the Center of Progress, the Horticulture Building, and the International Building, and in the Youth Building. Also new this year, free WiFi connections will be available in the International Building, the Dairy Cattle Barn, and the Toyota Coliseum.
Wild Wolves: The Wolves of the World exhibit helps put wolves in a new light. You'll see their natural abilities during the show and when it's over, you can be in the pen as they are fed.
Dinosaurs: The Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit features animatronic dinosaurs and several that you can ride on. There's also a game to find fossils.
Swifty Swine Racing Pigs: This new entertainment option offers a pig pen full of little pigs racing several times daily.
New food: Among the interesting new taste treats available this year will be deep fried spinach dip, the Piggy Back (a sausage wrapped in bacon and covered in peppers and onions), the Chicken, Bacon, and Ranch Donut (a deep fried chicken breast filled with smoked bacon and covered in ranch dressing), Tim Horton's new Buffalo Crunch donut, and a cheeseburger with a chunk of deep fried mac-and-cheese.
