SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - On Jan. 23, OnTheLookout profiled Paul Williams Jr. who was wanted for multiple burglary and theft charges.
Thanks to tips from viewers like you, Williams was taken into custody.
He was found in an apartment in the 1100 block of South Townsend Street.
In July 2016, deputies say Williams helped four others burglarize a retired Syracuse Police detective's home in the town of Cicero.
The former detective had a safe and its contents stolen.
Upon further investigation, it was learned that Williams and four others were allegedly involved in the burglary.
A majority of the stolen property was recovered, and two of the five suspects are currently in jail.
Williams also has a bench warrant out of the City of Syracuse for allegedly stealing from his previous employer, Speedway Convenience Stores.
Williams has prior arrests for theft, weapons and marijuana possession and violating probation.
