Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Police in Syracuse and Watertown are ‘On The Lookout’ for a woman who has been arrested 43 previous times.

Syracuse Police say 31-year-old Markeisha Frayer is now wanted for forgery and petit larceny.

According to police, she brought her busted car window to a repair shop and took the owner for a ride.

“She paid them with a forged check,” said Sergeant John Savage with the Syracuse Police Department.

Police say Frayer has been arrested 43 times and is a familiar face to the Syracuse Police Financial Crimes Unit.

“I think that every time she gets a warrant, she becomes a little smarter on hiding out from police,” Sgt. Savage said. “I think that every minute that she's back out on the street, she's involved in some sort of criminal activity.”

Frayer is wanted by:
  • Syracuse Police for Forgery in the 2nd Degree; a Class D Felony and for Violation of Probation
  • Watertown Police for Petit Larceny
Officials describe her as:
  • African-American female
  • 5 feet-6 inches tall
  • 200 pounds
  • Brown eyes
  • Black hair
If you can help police locate her, you are urged to call the Warrant Squad at (315) 442-5230.

All calls will remain anonymous.
