$5K reward offered for help in convicting suspect who threw 12 cats from a vehicle in Oneida

Oneida (WSYR-TV) – The Humane Society is offering a $5,000 reward for information that could help lead to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for throwing 12 cats and kittens in a bag from a moving vehicle in the city of Oneida.

Two cats were killed in the incident. Five are recovering at a shelter. Five have been adopted.

According to Wanderers’ Rest, a witness said a bag was thrown from a moving car on Lake Street on July 24.

Oneida City Police are investigating the incident.
