Camillus (WSYR-TV) – Camillus Police are investigating a series of overnight thefts from cars along Lyons Road.

According to police, cash, loose change, a “multi-tool,” and sun glasses were all stolen from unlocked cars.

Camillus Police say no windows were broken during the rash of thefts, nor did they steal anything that could be easily traced, such as a computer or credit cards.

They say seven cars were reportedly broken into along Lyons Road.

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office received similar complaints about thefts from cars along Lawless and Limeledge roads in the town of Marcellus, according to Camillus Police.

Police are warning residents that they should always lock their cars.

Residents should also call police if they see anything suspicious in their neighborhood.
