SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two people who they believe used missing credit cards at multiple stores at Destiny USA mall in Syracuse earlier this month.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the victim accidentally left her purse in a women’s bathroom at a Walmart location off of Route 31 in Clay on Jan. 31.
The purse was dropped off at the store’s customer service desk, but when the victim went to retrieve it, she discovered that her credit cards, cash, and checkbook had been taken.
Two people who investigators believe used the credit cards were caught on surveillance camera between Feb. 1 and Feb. 3.
If you can identify the people, call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at (315) 435-3051 or use the tip411 app.
