Sheriff's Office identifies victim in town of Floyd fatal crash

FLOYD, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man who was killed in a one-car crash in the town of Floyd Thursday morning.

They say 25-year-old Joseph Kelley Jr. of Marcy was driving east on Watson Hollow Road when he crossed into oncoming traffic and then went off the shoulder of the road.

Investigators say the vehicle struck a driveway culvert and then foliage at the home before stopping in a ditch.

The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident.
