Police: Fugitive of the Week threatened woman, children

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Police are asking for the public’s help as they search for a suspect who allegedly threatened his former girlfriend and her children, and also said that if he’s found by law enforcement, he’ll “go out in a blaze of glory.”

According to police, 29-year-old Craig McGraw may be armed.

He used to live on Lodi Street, but he has friends and family in the Brewerton area.

They believe he could be working as a handyman, and he may be driving a distinctive vehicle.

“We had some tips come in that he could be operating an older Ford pickup truck, with a very loud muffler, possibly two-toned,” Sgt. Mike Smith said.

McGraw is wanted for first-degree criminal contempt.

He’s 5-foot-10 and 160 pounds.

Police are cautioning people to refrain from engaging with McGraw.

If you see him, call 911.

If you can contribute to the investigation, call police at (315) 442-5230.
