Police respond to 2nd Jewish Community Center bomb threat in a month

DEWITT, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Police and emergency crews responded to a bomb threat at the Jewish Community Center for the second time this month.

The threat was reported around 10:28 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police brought K-9 units and searched the facility on Thompson Road, finding nothing suspicious.

The Jewish Community Center has since re-opened.

On Jan. 18, the Jewish Community Center in DeWitt was one of numerous centers subjected to bomb threats.

Those threats also proved to be unfounded.
