REMSEN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A Remsen man is facing felony charges after State Police saw video that allegedly showed him sexually abusing a child.
State Police responded to a home in the town of Madison when a caller reported a sex offense in progress.
When they reviewed a video, they determined that 28-year-old Jason Edwards of Remsen had sexually abused a child under the age of 8-years-old.
Edwards was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Edwards was arraigned in Madison Town Court and jailed in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
A hearing is slated for Aug. 21.
