Philadelphia, NY (WSYR-TV) - Investigators believe an ATV driver was going too fast when he crashed in the Town of Philadelphia on Saturday.

21-year old Brandon Hagan, of Plessis, did not survive after losing control of his ATV and being thrown into a guide rail along a curve on Sandy Hollow Road.

After swerving to avoid Hagan, 27-year old Jon Laclair, of Evans Mills, also lost control and landed in a ditch. He has minor injuries.

Hagan was pronounced dead at Samaritan Medical Center.
