Seneca County Sheriff's Office issues travel advisory

WATERLOO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has issued a travel advisory as a strong winter storm sweeps across New York State.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking people to avoid any unnecessary travel.

Roads are open – but they are snow covered and slippery in some areas.

The Sheriff’s Office says people should drive slowly, and allow for extra time.

They say Deputies are keeping an eye on roadways and watching for stranded drivers.
