State Police arrest 2 suspected of robbing Constantia bank

CONSTANTIA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - State Police have arrested two men suspected of robbing a bank in Constantia, less than 24 hours since the suspects' photos were released.

18-year-old Calyx Estep, of Cleveland, N.Y., and 21-year-old Jordan Garrett, of West Monroe, N.Y., were arrested around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday and charged with second-degree robbery, a felony.

On Monday, troopers were looking for a suspect who allegedly held up a Fulton Savings Bank.

Troopers say the suspect “displayed a weapon,” but they did not specify what type.

Trooper Jack Keller, the public information officer with local state police, said that Estep is accused of robbing the bank and Garrett allegedly drove the getaway vehicle.

Both were arraigned in Constantia Town Court and sent to the Oswego County Public Safety Building.
