SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A suspect wanted for violating his Federal probation was arrested after a crash on Syracuse’s West Side on Wednesday.
U.S. Marshals say an officer saw 28-year-old Peter Napolitano in a vehicle near the intersection of Bradley and Putnam streets.
Syracuse Police were called in to help arrest Napolitano, but he refused to pull over.
After a short chase, Napolitano reportedly crashed near the intersection of Delaware and South Geddes streets and ran away from the scene.
The officers caught up with him after a short foot chase.
Napolitano faces charges including fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, and resisting arrest, as well as reckless driving.
According to U.S. Marshals, no one was injured during the crash.
