SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police have identified the bicyclist who was struck and killed by a dirt biker earlier this week.
According to police, 24-year-old Ervin Royall, of Syracuse, was struck by someone riding a dirt bike at Tallman and South Salina Streets on Tuesday night.
Police responded to the scene around 9:20 p.m., where they found Royall unconscious with multiple injuries.
The driver of the dirt bike left the scene before police showed up. Officers believe the operator sustained substaintial injuries.
Police are still looking for the person who was operating the dirt bike.
They believe that person “should have substantial injuries.”
