Syracuse Police looking for suspect who fled after Wolf Street robbery

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are looking for a suspect who held up a North Side gas station at gunpoint Monday night.

Police say the suspect pointed a gun at a cashier at the Sunoco location on Wolf Street and then demanded money.

The suspect reportedly fled with cash and the cashier’s cell phone.

Police say they used a K-9 to track the suspect east on Wolf Street and then south on Pennsylvania Avenue.

They lost track of the suspect near the 100 block of Fourth North Street.

Police say the suspect was described as a black male in his 20s. During the robbery, he was reportedly wearing a green, hooded sweatshirt.
