SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police have identified a man they suspect of being behind the wheel during a deadly hit and run on the city’s West Side that ended in the death of a 2-year-old.
Police are trying to find 18-year-old Felix Santos of 545 Gifford Street.
He is wanted on charges including:
- Second-degree manslaughter
- Leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision
- Reckless driving
- Multiple vehicle and traffic offenses
Police began investigating the case on Saturday, May 27 at approximately 3:51 p.m. when they responded to the scene on the 400 block of Shonnard Street.
2-year-old Jamiesha Stanford died as a result of injuries she suffered during the crash.
26-year-old James Stanford and 1-year-old James Stanford Jr. were also injured.
They were taken to Upstate University Hospital.
