‘Tribute Tree' lights up the sky to honor veterans this Christmas

CHITTENANGO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Clear Path For Veterans in Chittenango dedicated their “Tribute Tree” Tuesday evening to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Last October, the group planted a 12 foot Colorado Spruce ‘tribute tree’ on the driveway leading up to the Clear Path For Veterans.

For a donation of $25, you can pay to add lights to the tree to honor those who have served and have since died.

“Whether they served on active duty, National Guard, Reserves, whether they served in time of war or not in time of war, people can donate a light for $25 in tribute to their memory. So we come here, we read their names and we pay tribute to them,” said Terry Finley, the national outreach director of Clear Path For Veterans.
