House pulls health care bill ahead of scheduled vote

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CNN) - President Donald Trump has pulled his proposed health care bill just minutes before the scheduled vote, multiple reports say.

On Thursday, the President demanded that the House vote on his American Health Care Act-- a bill that would replace the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare.

Speaker Paul Ryan visited the White House on Friday afternoon, reportedly warning the President that Republicans lacked the votes to pass the bill.
