SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Two Central New York high school marching bands are bound for big performances this year.
Although it’s still the first month of the school year, the Baldwinsville Bees and the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars are anticipating a great season.
Baldwinsville has performed in Ireland and at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and now, the marching Bees will perform at an NFL game
The Buffalo Bills have invited band members to perform a pre-game and halftime show at New Era Field when the Bills play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 1.
The Bills will pay for all of the band’s expenses, including travel, food and hotel.
Cicero-North Syracuse high school will also be performing at a bowl game for the first time in 20 years.
They’ll be heading to Jacksonville, Fl. on New Year’s Eve for the Taxslayer Bowl.
The Northstars will join marching bands from across the country, all performing halftime. The schools will be evaluated by nationally ranked judges.
