Bainbridge (WSYR-TV) - The teen suspected of holding a woman against her will in a remote area just outside the Village of Bainbridge has been arrested.
State Police in Sidney believe 19-year old Damian Schlabsz of Unadilla, knocked the woman to the ground and held a knife to her, preventing her from leaving the scene. He eventually ran away, according to police.
A 911 call on July 6 prompted the investigation, following claims that a woman was attacked with a knife. Schlabsz was arrested on July 11.
He's charged with Unlawful Imprisonment and Menacing.
He was arraigned in the Town of Bainbridge Court and sent to the Chenango County Jail. Bail was set at $50,000 cash.
