Utica Police: 14-year-old threatened to ‘shoot up the school'

UTICA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A Utica 14-year-old has been charged with a felony after allegedly threatening to “shoot up” Proctor High School.

Police declined to identify the student, noting that he is a ninth-grader who made the threats in class.

The Juvenile Aid Unit’s investigation began on Feb. 27.

The student was charged with making a terroristic threat.

Police did not indicate whether he remains in custody or not.
