SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - The 100 block of West Fayette Street will be closed until next week due to a water main break.
West Fayette Street will be shut down from South Salina Street to Clinton Street.
Syracuse's water department responded to a water main break around 1 a.m. on Friday, March 9.
The initial repair caused a subsequent leak, which was resolved Friday morning.
The water department is currently working to restore the roadway. Sidewalks will remain open.
The street is expected to reopen for traffic on Tuesday morning.
