ONONDAGA COUNTY - Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney spoke with NewsChannel 9 about Monday's storm, stressing that Onondaga County has issued a travel advisory.
Mahoney says the advisory will not upgrade to a ban, since a large number of people are following the advisory and staying home.
80 plow drivers were out working 16 hour shifts on Tuesday. Mahoney says there will be fewer drivers overnight.
Many have called and asked the county when their roads will be plowed. Mahoney says if you live in a city in the county, like Syracuse, it’s up to the city’s department of public works to get out and plow.
The county will foremost focus on county roads.
