Woman, infant taken to hospital after car strikes utility pole near Heid's

LIVERPOOL, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - A woman and an infant were taken to a local hospital after her vehicle struck a utility pole near Heid’s in the village of Liverpool Wednesday morning.

Liverpool Police say the driver was traveling south on 370 when she lost control of the vehicle.

When it struck the utility pole, the driver fell out.

The infant was still in a car seat when it reportedly continued and struck a stone wall at Onondaga Lake Park.

Police say both the woman and the infant were conscious and breathing.
