The Liverpool Central School District superintendent says they’re making improvements to the traffic flow and parking situations as part of a capital project approved several years ago. They halted construction when the school year began.
The plan was to complete the project in two phases – with work starting back up as soon as school lets out next month.
The project calls for the addition of a 70-space parking lot, a redesigned bus circle, and a separate entrance and exit to the school’s off of Soule Road.
The superintendent says that once the work is done by the start of school in the fall, it will improve the safety for students and drivers, while making it easier to get in and out of the school’s parking and drop-off area.
