Answer: The Thruway Authority says it has both short and long-term repair plans.
Over the next two weeks, potholes in five areas of the ramp will be filled in at a cost of about $25,000.
They will be doing most of the work at night in order to minimize the impact on traffic.
This fall, the Thruway Authority will begin the contracting process for a full-scale reconstruction of the bridge and off ramp, which will involve making them wider.
That work will begin next year.
