Cops looking for man accused of breaking into a woman’s house and attacking her

Police are looking for a man after he allegedly broke into a woman’s home and attacked her.

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Police are looking for a man after he allegedly broke into a woman’s home and attacked her.

According to the Fugitive Task Force, Damien Lenhardt already had a history of tangling with the law before the incident – including fighting with officers.

He is wanted on charges including burglary in the second degree and assault in the second degree – both felonies – and criminal obstruction of breathing – a misdemeanor.

The alleged incident occurred on Dec. 20.

They say the 32-year-old man has been charged with multiple felonies in the past – both against domestic partners and against officers.

Lenhardt is 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He normally has close cropped hair, according to police.

The Fugitive Task Force says Lenhardt is known to frequent a number of locations not only in the city of Syracuse, but also the surrounding suburbs.
