Cops: Teen who skipped court after firing gun in apartment, nearly striking a father and child turns himself in

Syracuse Police say a wanted teenager turned himself in on Tuesday after seeing himself profiled on NewsChannel 9’s “On The Lookout.”

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police say a wanted teenager turned himself in on Tuesday after seeing himself profiled on NewsChannel 9’s “On The Lookout.”

Police say 18-year-old Bay Rosario was on the run after he skipped out on his court date.

Rosario was originally arrested after police say he fired a gun in a West Side apartment, nearly striking a father and daughter in the apartment below.

Rosario was charged with the following relating to the incident:
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree
  • 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree
