Police: Man arrested in Geddes Bank of America robbery

State Police have arrested a man in connection to a Geddes bank robbery on Jan. 14.

Geddes (WSYR-TV) - State Police assisted Geddes Police in arresting a man suspected of robbing a Geddes bank on Jan. 14.

Geddes Police say 28-year-old Michael Peterson of Camillus was arrested after they received a tip he was hiding in a home in Malone.

Police say Peterson entered the Bank of America in Geddes and handed a teller a note demanding money at about 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 14.

Peterson has been charged with Robbery. He was arraigned and his bail was set at $250,000.

Geddes (WSYR-TV) – Police are looking for a suspect after a reported bank robbery near the Western Lights plaza on Tuesday morning. They released images of the suspect late Tuesday afternoon to OnTheLookout.net.

Geddes Police identified the suspect as Michael Peterson. They are trying to locate him.

They say the suspect - a white male - entered the Bank of America location around 9:40 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money.

They say the suspect did not show the teller a weapon.

No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect drove off in a white Pontiac, according to police.

Police declined to say how much money was taken.
