SU football to play Friday night prime-time game against Louisville

The Syracuse University football will have at least one chance to play in the national spotlight this season.
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Syracuse University football will have at least one chance to play in the national spotlight this season.

The ACC released its football television schedule on Tuesday, and it includes a nationally televised game against Louisville on Friday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

The Orange opener against Villanova is currently only available on ESPN3 on Friday, Aug. 29 – which can be accessed online.

The remainder of SU’s schedule includes games against Maryland on Sept. 20, Florida State on Oct. 11, North Carolina State on Nov. 1, and Duke on Nov. 8.

SU will play Notre Dame in New York’s College Classic on Sept. 27 at MetLife Stadium.

The 2014 road schedule includes contests at Central Michigan on Sept. 13, Wake Forest on Oct. 18, Clemson on Oct. 25, Pittsburgh on Nov. 22, and Boston College on Nov. 29.
