  • Chiefs outlast Bats in wild slugfest, 11-8

    The Syracuse Chiefs snapped a seven-game losing streak in dramatic fashion Monday, scoring three runs in the ninth to edge the Louisville Bats, 11-8, at Louisville Slugger Field. 

  • Wings clip Chiefs, 2-0, Saturday night

    The Syracuse Chiefs fell to the Rochester Red Wings, 2-0, Saturday night at Frontier Field. The Red Wings scored two runs in the fourth inning which held up for a second straight win over the Chiefs. Erick Fedde threw three perfect innings with four strikeouts for Syracuse in his second start back in the rotation, as he continues to work to be stretched out back into a starter's innings load.

  • Edwin Jackson leads Syracuse to 5-0 win over Lehigh Valley

    Edwin Jackson tossed five shutout innings as Syracuse shutouts Lehigh Valley 5-0.  Jackson has not allowed a run in 17 straight innings for the Chiefs.

  • De Aza, Heisey smash Chiefs past IronPigs, 10-6

    The Syracuse Chiefs staved off a six-run top of the third inning from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs on Wednesday night to take a 10-6 victory at NBT Bank Stadium. Alejandro De Aza cranked his first home run of the season and drove in four runs in the victory. Chris Heisey also homered in the victory, his first of the season with the Chiefs, picking up three RBIs of his own. As a team, the Chiefs walked 12 times, the most for the team since 2008.

    Brandon Snyder followed in the footsteps of his father to become a professional baseball player. After more than a decade in the pro's, he's still enjoying his life in the game -- especially as an I.L. All-Star in 2017.
