Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - When the Syracuse University men’s basketball team takes to the floor against Marquette in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, you may want to pay a little more attention to what coach Jim Boeheim is wearing.

His sport jackets include a few subtle details that you may not have noticed before. Boeheim is a customer of Adrian Jules Custom Clothiers, a clothing store in Rochester, which has created custom jackets for the coach.

Some of Boeheim's custom items include:

-- A suit he wore the night of his 900th win, where the stitching on last buttonhole, and the interior lining, are orange.

-- A sport coat with lining that shows the Carrier Dome filled to capacity. He's worn this one during NCAA Tournament games this year.

-- Another jacket with custom lining that shows basketballs and the SU logo.

The clothing store says the custom interior touch-ups are relatively new.

“He sort of appreciates it because it’s just a subtle little detail and it’s not over the top,” said Peter Roberti from Adrian Jules.

The subtle touch offered by Adrian Jules, along with the help Boeheim gets from his wife Juli, are just enough of a statement for the Hall of Fame coach.

Juli Boeheim said in an interview with NewsChannel 9 last year, "He wants to put something on and forget about it. You don't want to worry about, 'is this too flashy and you know, is this staying fixed,' so he'll never wear a suit."

The team at Adrian Jules says it’s ready to make the trip to Syracuse if the Orange wins on Saturday and Boeheim needs a little more flare for the Final Four.

"We'll see how he does this weekend and we'll talk to him before next week and who knows, maybe we'll have something different for him for the Final Four if they make it that far, but we don't ever talk about that until they get there,” Roberti said.
