Friday Night Fever full segment 10-20-17

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) - Friday marked the first night of high school football playoffs.

One of the biggest matchups of the night was the Class AA Cicero-North Syracuse and Christian Brothers Academy-- the winner would move on as a state title contender.

Coach Casey Brown was without both of his star players the last several weeks and Stevie Scott and Vossy Dennis did not suit up tonight.

The Northstars put up 21 points in the first quarter.

Erik Pride finished with 207 yards...75 of them coming on this long touchdown run.

C-NS gets some revenge for last year’s loss in the sectional finals cruising past CBA 61-7.

The 2-seed in Class AA is Central Square. The Red Hawks opened up the postseason at home against Liverpool.

With four minutes to go, Jacob Vacco finds the end zone as the Warriors advanced with a hard fought 26-22 victory.
