Baldwinsville native Alex Tuch selected 18th overall by Minnesota Wild in NHL Draft

Philadelphia (WSYR-TV) - Baldwinsville native Alex Tuch has been selected 18th overall in the NHL Draft by the Minnesota Wild.

The right winger attended C.W. Baker High School through his sophomore year before joining the U.S. National development program in Ann Arbor, Mich. where he has spent the last two years playing hockey for the U.S. Juniors and attending high school.

Tuch has signed a national letter of intent to play D-I hockey at Boston College next fall and plans on committing at least one season to the Eagles.
