Video: Interview with Baldwinsville native expected to be selected in 1st Round of NHL Draft

Baldwinsville (WSYR-TV) - Baldwinsville native Alex Tuch is counting down the hours until he and his family head to Philadelphia for the NHL Draft - where he is expected to go in the 1st Round.

The right winger attended C.W. Baker High School through his sophomore year before joining the U.S. National development program in Ann Arbor, Mich. where he has spent the last two years playing hockey for the U.S. Juniors and attending high school.

Tuch has signed a national letter of intent to play D-I hockey at Boston College next fall and plans on committing at least one season to the Eagles.

The NHL Draft is set to begin on Friday, June 27 at 7 p.m.

In the video above, NewsChannel 9 talks with Tuch before he departs for Philadelphia and will speak to him after he learns which team selects him.
