Philly turns into NFL Draft headquarters

Do Bills go D or maybe take a receiver Thursday?

Philadealphia, PA - After decades of being indoors, the NFL Draft is heading outside.

What better spot than at the Philadelphia Museum of Art which was made famous by the Academy Award winning motion picture Rocky.  Who could forget Rocky's famous line, "Adrian, we did it!

For hundreds of college prospects, this weekend could be a dream come true when they hear their name selected by one of the 32 teams in the National Football League.

The Cleveland Browns have the number one overall pick. The Buffalo Bills are picking 10th.

Will Buffalo go defense?  Last season, they were carved up several times by the NFL's elite passing attacks.

As for offense, the Bills have been frequently linked to Alabama tight end OJ Howard. He could be a perfect fit for new head coach Sean McDermott who's been preaching versatility since he landed the Bills job back in January.

It should be a hot one for the NFL Draft with temperatures in the mid to upper 80's in Philadelphia Thursday. Though, the heat will be turned up that much more for General Manager Doug Whaley and staff when the Buffalo Bills are on the clock.

Especially after a rumor from Pro Football Talk that the Bills scouting staff could be gutted after the draft.

One unnamed scout told PFT, "We are all getting fired next week." If it happens, Whaley would likely go down with the ship.

Just another offseason in Buffalo.
